I sponsored a demo pack, but the download doesn't appear. why can't i download? Looking at the comments below, there is only an online version. How do I download it? Super Retro World : Online demo This demo provides a set of maps you can visit directly from your browser ! how the hell do you get this? Leave your email address. neobxbzac@naver.com

Hello !

This is only browser playable, there is not download available. Do you really want it ? It's a RPG Maker MZ project, not a set of .png files.

Currently there is no download button for this demo, is that correct or is this viewing only?

Hello Cynerius,

Indeed, there is just an online version :)

your work is pretty amazing! thank you also for sharing info to how sell the assets, I posted my first asset pack recently but I think I will need to use your tips to improve my sales (working in updates and other assets packs)

<3

Mega cool stuff, bough the full package for an RPG Maker project ^^ man. To prepare the tiles in the maker (passabilities and so) would take time before i can start ^^ but i´m excitet to use your stuff

Thank you, mate ! Enjoy !

Hi Gif, will these work in Gamemaker as is?

Surely, tho autotiles may not be in the correct format. I plan to work on that :)

Hey - I use Unity - do I have to buy the Unity version for it work at all? Or can I cut and tile myself and get this one? -- Oh and does the unity version have the same Licence as above?

(+1)

Hello Ynott,

Yes the license is the same whatever the package or assets.

You can cut the tiles yourself if you want too. On the other hand, the Unity Pack provide every aspect of the collection imported and set up correctly (I believe) as well as a sample playable map. You will also find TilePalettes with autotiles (single frame and animated) so you don't have to worry about configure them yourself (which is a pain in the ass lol) :

Moreover, if your issue in the package price, give me your @ mail and I'll send you a download key :)

Awesome - thanks. I'll grab it on Unity later today!

Thanks so much for the offer too!

Love all your environments! Everything from the details to the colors are just wonderful.

Quick question, your online demo and a bunch of your screenshots have some very cute lighting. I've checked all the packs I've purchased, and there doesn't seem to be anything to support this. Is there any chance you would/could include the transparencies or masks you used in a future pack or an update to a current one?  Possibly this is just an RPG Maker feature I'm not aware of, but I figured I would ask.

Hello DrBattleDonkey :)

Are you talking about the spot lights, or global screen tones maybe ?

Both I guess? It's possible I simply lack the terminology to discuss 2D lighting  xD Here's an image of what I mean specifically: Pixel Art Lighting Examples - Imgur

I assume you have added some kind of global screen tone to achieve "night-time" and masked out the torches to achieve "light". I'm not ashamed to admit I'm just bad at technical art like this, but you also have some very pretty sun/moon beams that I have a surprising amount of trouble replicating on my own.

Hello DrBattleDonkey :). No problemo, here are some tips.

 - For the spotlights effect (using a Event image) :

 - For the godrays (using a Picture) :

Hope this helps you :)

My Hero! Thank you so much! <3

<3 Have a good day !

Quick question - I was heavily considering buying the complete collection, but was wondering if there were any additional assets included in this version of the Exterior Pack vs the Steam version of the same name..? Because I purchased that one some time ago on Steam, and was wondering if I'd essentially be buying the same content twice.

Other than that, this pack looks excellent - I'm awaiting your response, but I'll likely purchase it regardless of your answer. xD

Hi vongrimmsy0 !

Regarding Super Retro World Exterior Pack : it's the the same content in both plateform :). I think I just updated the itch.io version to add 1 or 2 more tiles for a specific client.

Thank you for your message 🥰

Ah, I see - well, I just purchased the complete collection, so I'm all set! Thanks, and keep up the good work! :)

Thank you !

Out of curiosity, what are the conditions under which we may use assets from this demo pack? Is it okay to use them in a for-profit game as long as we credit you?

Likewise question for the fore-sale asset packs.

Hello Ryarod :)

Each of the Super Retro World asset pack you buy / download can be used for commercial game.

The current demo uses also Super Retro World assets, but with scanlines, as they can't be used anywhere else.

Have a good day !

Good idea to show off your assets and give some inspiration on to how to use them.
I enjoyed exploring it and am looking forward to your next asset expansions and fixes.

Hello wallchicken :)

Thank you for your feedback, I'll add more stuff soon !

Sorry- says it can't load graphics in the browser, and get the same error when I install and download using the Itch installer

Oof, yeah it can happend with some browsers, due to their download policy and how the Rpg Maker engine works online.

I did try with Edge and Chrome tho and it worked well but had a similar issue with Firefox.

may I ask what browser you did use ? I'll provide a downloadable solution next week anyway :)

Sure! I am on a Mac, so I tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Was this RPGMaker MV?

Oh! I got it to work in Safari after retrying and clearing my cache.

<3 awesome !

This has been made with rpg maker MZ by the way.

Ah, I can't wait to get MZ. Just waiting for the next sale
